I hear a lot of talk about people raising their energies and working on raising their kundalini.
Over the years, I’ve seen a few people who have raise their energies too quickly, played with the fire, flared brightly like an exploding rocket, then crashed and burned, to fade into obscurity.
Typically, these people tend to ignore warnings that advise them caution, and pay the price, pretty much setting them back years in their quest to develop their spirituality and powers.
While the prospect of this journey and the potential of power can and does excite many, there are very good reasons to be very careful about raising your energies, especially your kundalini.
The kundalini is said to rest dormant at the base of the spine and when it rises, it is said to look like a snake rising up your back, hence it is also referred to as serpent energy.
The rising of a kundalini should never hurt. If it’s hurting then I’d suggest, something isn’t going right. Also, in my own opinion, it should happen on its own accord. When you reach certain levels, it will automatically rise and you may experience what feels like a cool energy rising up your spine (like a cool refreshing shower) or it might be a warm pleasant sensation.
Sometimes you may also experience it as a shiver flowing up your back and through your body.
I tend to have these awakenings every few years or so. Normally it’s preceded by my guides telling me I’m about to rise to the next level. So far, it’s been happening in stages since around 1995 and it took me around 10 years to just get to the stage where it started naturally.
The question of why should people be patient and why is it dangerous can be explained by a wonderful example I heard when I was listening to a lecture by John Gray, which had somehow gotten onto my MP3 player.
He spoke of how doctors use electrical treatment to help the muscles. They would first start by raising the power to where the patient could just tolerate it. Then after 10 minutes, the doctor would double it. The patient doesn’t feel any pain even though it is doubled. Then after another 10 minutes, it is increased by the original amount, and so on until they have reached a stage where the body is comfortably handing 6 times its original level.
John then said that he decided to test this one himself and came back the day after he had a treatment and started his level at twice the original energy he could comfortably take. He said his skin blistered and he got burnt.
It explained to me why people need to take their rising of energies in stages. If they go to fast, go higher than their body can handle, and don’t take the time to let it adjust to the energy levels, it can literally burn out the body.
I recommend that the best way to raise the kundalini is to just let it happen, or if you do have someone do it for you, don’t ever go beyond the levels that you feel you can handle. It may take a couple of years for you to adjust, but it’s better than ending up in a mental home, as many of the cases are said to have done.
