Some symbols are said to ward off evil. One such one is called the Pa Kua symbol. It has been known to protect, boost business and ward off evil. Maybe keeping it in a prominent place may help.

Asking for help from a higher source. (Whatever you perceive to be God or his representatives.) For example, if you have a Christianity background, you might recite The Lord's Prayer.
