The best selling books by Neale Donald Walsch and certainly high on my list of insightful and thought provoking books.
The title put me off for years as I associated it with religious and fictional books. However, though a series of synchs thought the Celestine Chat room, I read book 2 and was instantly hooked.
CWG filled in many gaps in my knowledge . Or rather, helped me to clarify and understand many of the things I did not understand or had understood wrongly.
More importantly, when I read the books, it helps put me on that resonance, so I can more easily have my own conversations.
These books are not preachy. In fact, they are very much the opposite. They ask all those questions that we are told we should not ask and give answers that make complete sense, even under scrutiny.
Many people will not like the books or what it has to say because they place the power and responsibility squarely back in our corner. This works for me as it’s what I’ve worked towards all my life, but it’s not for everyone.
Don't let the title of this book put you off like it did me for many years.
It is NOT a religious book, nor is it a book on preaching.
What it is, is an amazing dialogue between Neale Donald Walsh and God.
This, alone, should be enough to turn most people off, but bear with me here.
Here is a dialogue that actually makes sense. Here is a book where not only are there questions asked that we have been told by our religious we must not ask, but we actually get clear, simple answers that make perfect sense.
Questions such as:
Why are we really here?
What does God need of us?
Why does God allow bad things to happen?
Why do bad things happen to good people?
What are The Ten Commandments? This is the first time they ever made any sense to me.
The 10 illusions of Man
What happens when we die

Can we talk to God and can God talk to us? Can we have normal and meaningful conversations with Her? The answer is indeed yes. And many people have experienced their own conversations after reading NDW books.
There are two things I really recommend without hesitations. One are Bach Flower Remedies, and the other are the Conversations with God books.
