I am very aware that these experiences I’ve written about come off as fantasy stories or the product of someone who’s got a fertile imagination. Or maybe I might seem to be someone who’s pulling everyone’s leg for my own amusement. Perhaps I might even come across as someone who is seeking attention by making up incredible tales.

Some people will accept what I’ve written without question (and if so, shame on you!)

Some people will read it and identify with what I’ve written (and if so, then you are the reason why I’ve written all this and made it public.)

Some people will want to believe but there will always be a seed of doubt as they wonder if I am genuine or not (and if you do, then that’s not a bad thing. Things aren’t always what they seem and even I will reserve my judgement until I am certain of things.)

My intention is to try and explain where I am coming from when I write these experiences.

First of all, I’m what they call a purist. I like to stick to the facts and the original stories. I really hate it when something is distorted or changed without the original source being acknowledged.

With that in mind, I will not embellish my experiences or add things that didn’t happen to me. I may change name and I certainly will leave things out (for reasons of discretion) but what you read here is what I have experienced and what I recall to the best of my ability. Many events were written down at the time and I use this to refresh my memory as I retell it.

Secondly, when I tell my stories, I try to tell them in a way that isn’t emotional. I’m telling the story of my experiences but I am attempting to tell them from an objective point of view, giving as many facts and details so people can make their own minds up.

Thirdly, I do realize there are many cranks out there. There are many sites which I consider to be really questionable, even though they present themselves as legitimate. I’m always astounded by how many actually are taken in by them. Personally, any thing that comes across as elitist or is full of apparent contradictions should be treated with some scepticism.

That being said, I do not wish to add to the garbage already out there. Why make something up when there is so much that is real to write about? I’m one of those people who visit urban legend sites like snope.com and debunk rumour presented as fact because I believe that people should know what the truth is.

Of course, in the end, people will believe what they wish to believe and what suits their purpose.

Some people have vested interests in believing something is a certain way and some just enjoy the mystery and drama. I certainly know that some will denounce me as working with Satan but as long as it works for them, I don’t care.

Those who know me will know that I don’t make things up. I don’t try to coat things with fluff and I’ll say it like I see it. (So if you don’t want to know, don’t ask.)

So, I can assure you, who are reading this, that everything I write about, I truly believe has happened. Look for what feels right for you. Look to if the words have clarity. You are not reading this by chance. Nothing is by chance.
