The Oak type will battle on regardless of how great the odds seem. They are the plodders who say the job must be done. They resent things such as sickness that will interfere with their work. They rarely ever give up, though they will often become depressed by the seemingly insurmountable odds.

Taking Oak helps by giving them great endurance, strength and commonsense and the ability to handle stress.

It's not unusual for people to push themselves past their limits, especially when they feel they are the only ones who will do or can do the job they are doing. One of the danger signs that one is at this state is that you feel as though that even taking holidays will not change the way you feel.

For Empaths:

Being an Oak type myself, I have often pushed myself way beyond my limits, almost to the point of no return.  (Holding down a full time job, not taking leave and the doing what I do after hours ends up taking its toll.)

Oak is one of the remedies that has often brought me back from the edge. It is the remedy for when you are pushed way past your limits of exhaustion and are literally running on empty.

Oak will help bring you gently back, and restore your energies and stop you from breaking.
